History:

Established in 1982

Jim Campbell followed his dream and started JLC Sign Systems in 1982.  The business was named after Jim's twin sons Josh and Luke.  In those days signs were painted and then eventually evolved to vinyl.  Jim was very involved in the Gillette community and was well known.  Most people will associate Jim and the shop with the submarine he and his sons built.  People could stop in the shop and view the sub.

Linda Beane hired on in the year 2002, and worked for Jim for the next six years.  Upon Jim's wife Laura retiring from her job, Jim decided it was his time to retire too.  Jim offered Linda the opportunity to buy the business and she took up on the offer.

Officially taking over the business May of 2008 JLC Sign Systems changed from JLC Sign Systems to JLC Signs & graphic works.  The name change reflects the change not only in the new ownership but also changes to the sign industry.  Linda bought a large format printer to offer printing in addition to vinyl products.
